Introduction To ClusterReplica Duo
In a ClusterReplica Duo structure, there are only two stations binding at all times. Each can replicate and Failover to the other as the backup station. Configurations are done on each station according to its needs.
Four easy steps in configuration will get your binding servers working for the goal of real-tiem data replication and automatic Failover:
- Add new members - this is the first thing to do when constructing a clustering structure. By defineing the other binding server, the clustering can then be set for data replication and failover.

- Configuration for data replication - The real-time data replication can be set from either of the binding servers for replicating data to the other server.

- Configuration for server Failover - failover must be configured separately on each binding server to failover to the other.
See how bi-directional failover works.

When a Duo Master is set to be the failover recepiant, the ClusterReplica GUI will indicates this status with Master(Secondary).

- Network Configuration - It has the default values set during the installation. Users can modify the default settings here when they need to make the changes.
