ClusterReplica SQL Features

                                                                               Back to Product Overview

SQL Cluster System Auto-configuration

One of ClusterReplica MSSQL edition's best advantage lies in its auto configuration of the MS SQL cluster server database file replications. With the keenly defined target market of small businesses, this turnkey feature brings convenience to those who have the need for cluster servers, but don't know enough to configure the MS SQL server themselves and are holding back on spending money on professional IT help.

With successful installation of ClusterReplica MSSQL edition on the clustered servers, this edition of ClusterReplica will bind the servers to work as a cluster system and automatically configure the it to replicate MSSQL database files. Failover will be activated should the Primary station of the cluster server fails. The cluster server guarantees server 24/7 availability.

ClusterReplica's file replication is among the most powerful and efficient in its class. Besides handling all types of files, including SQL database files and some registry files, ClusterReplica replicates files in real time even when the file is open and being used.

Following is a screen shot of the configuration panel for MS SQL database file replication after the successful installation. All required replication paths are set. Users can simply click the "Sync" button on the tool bar to bring the clustered servers in sync. Then the cluster server is ready to function.

If other types of files, besides the MS SQL database files, are also kept in the server, the file path and the applications or services used for the file access can be added to the monitored list for file replication and failover decisions.
