ClusterReplica SQL is a turnkey continuous data protection and server availability software. Running ClusterReplica SQL does not require Microsoft Clustering service; nor do users need to have extensive knowledge on SQL server configuration. There is no need for you to first cluster the servers before running ClusterReplica SQL  because the software will bind the servers as one cluster server for you and carry out the data replication and Failover/Failback operations automatically.

The automatic configuration of database file replication and the initial file sync makes it an ideal product for small businesses and sub-divisions of large corporations.

The real-time replication to local or remote system options and scheduled backup utility allow users to use ClusterReplica SQL software for data protection purposes so that no important data will be lost due to human error or natural disasters.

Scheduled Backup

The Three Operation Modes Are:

  1. The replication only mode - when in this mode, Failover/Failback functions are disabled so that the main purpose of the cluster system is to backup data, especially data of SQL database files in real time from the Primary station to the Secondary station.

  2. The Failover mode - The cluster server is in Failover mode when the Failover setup is configured with a cluster name and cluster IP, both Primary and Secondary stations are alive; and new data is replicated in real-time from the Primary station to the Secondary station.

  3. The standalone mode - when one of the clustering station fails, leaving only one system alive to serve the clients, the system is in Standalone mode. When in this mode, no data is replicated. If the backup utility is configured with a set schedule, files can still be backed up to a different system. However, without Failover, server availability cannot be guaranteed.
