Firewall checkbox for Rule-settings

This check box will restrict the accessibility of the network processes.

When unchecked, the message line is showing: “All packages will be filtered with the order shown below”. This means the firewall will run according to the rules set in the definition list below. No specific restrictions will be placed on particular network processes.

When this box is checked, the message line will be showing “all packages not sent/received through the selected applications will be rejected”. This means only the network processes listed in the Selected Application List can get through the firewall. All other network processes will be blocked by the firewall.

The check box here functions the same as the one discussed above in the firewall rule setup dialog box.
